Cruise Control is an exciting and innovative feature that
will change the way you look at machine speed. Designed to
increase production, Cruise Control allows management to have control of
the machine speed, even when they're away from the machine.
Optimizing
Machine Speed
Management
determines the speed profile of the machine, and Cruise Control
automatically takes the machine to management's pre-determined run
speed.
Optimizing
Operator Performance
Cruise Control
holds your employees responsible for the machine speed. Using the
reporting feature of Cruise Control, you can view each shift's speed per
order and the causes for any orders that were run below the optimal
speed. |
How it Works |
-
Management enters their desired speed settings, which include the
machine's start and stop speeds.
-
When
the operator starts the order, the machine starts running at the
start speed chosen by management. Cruise Control then
increases the machine speed at regular intervals until the desired
run speed is reached.
-
The
operators are visually and audibly alerted before each speed
increase.
-
If
the operators choose not to run at the speed determined by
management, they activate a speed limit and must then enter a cause.
They may choose from a list of causes already installed on Cruise
Control, or they may enter a new one. Cruise Control then
displays that a speed limit has been set, along with the cause.
-
Management may then view a report showing every shift's setup times,
maximum speeds, speed limits, and speed limit causes.
