Featuring 4 levels of detection and self-diagnostics, Washburn Valley's Glue Detection is a glue detection system that works. And unlike other systems, glue is optically sensed and nothing needs to be added to the glue.

No operator interaction is required, Glue Detection automatically determines an order change and recalibrates itself to maintain the best detection! Once sheets start running through the machine, Glue Detection goes to work - reducing rework and scrap boxes.

• Monitoring: Glue Detection monitors glue presence, glue volume levels, glue uniformity, lead glue position, and glue length.

• Alerting: Glue Detection audibly advises operators concerning any glue faults, via horn and on-screen alarms.  To prevent false alarms, the glue sensor is mounted out of harms way of glue buildup.

• Self-Evaluating: Glue Detection continually monitors the sensor integrity by checking for blockage and alerting the operators when the sensor needs to be cleaned.

• Optional Box Marking System: Water and UV marking system available.

Glue Detection is available as a stand-alone and as an optional feature for Horizon and Glue Control.
